Chandler: After everything that I’ve done, you would think that I’d be treated better than this.

After everything that I’ve given them, you would think that I’d be shown a little respect.

(Chandler wags his finger)

Chandler: Since December of 2011, Frontier Grappling Arts was my home. We were a startup company. And we struggled, just as all small independents would struggles in today’s climate. But the more shows we put on, the better we got. The better performances we gave, the more people began to talk about us. And as word of mouth increased, more and more people starting coming to our shows. Those in the industry began to take notice out that little indy located in the toxic dump that is New Jersey.

This company had its well known names looking for that last shot at fame. They had their upstarts looking for their big break. And then you had someone like me. You had a man like me that didn’t shoot straight to the top. I faltered. I failed. But I never let it get the best of me. So I kept at it. I kept climbing that mountain. And then on one hot August day in 2012, I reached the top of that mountain by overthrowing Blaine Harrison for the FGA Championship.

(Chandler grins as he remembers that day fondly.)

Chandler: For the months prior to that win, it was yours truly that was the model of consistency. Months prior to that win, I was the standard bearer for FGA. Not Blaine, who quit as soon as he lost the damn belt. Not Micky O’Reilly or Sean Fallon, who proved to be nothing but hype. Not Michael Tomkins, who couldn’t wipe his own ass by himself let alone win a match by himself. And certainly not Jared James, the career failure. No it was yours truly that put that company on his back and carried it to new heights. And as names began to drop like flies and as I began the champion, I was the man. I was out in the forefront. I was the face of that company. It was my duty to uphold the values of that company, the values that company has quickly forgotten. Respect. Achieve. Ascend. Do you remember those words? Do you know what those words even mean anymore? Of course you don’t.

(Chandler shakes his head with disgust over FGA forgetting its core values.)

Chandler: For the remainder of 2012, I continued to put that company on my back. I was the franchise, the foundation, the backbone of FGA. And as its champion, that company saw its biggest influx of talent. More and more outsiders began to take notice. Publications began to talk about us as one of the premier independent federations in the U.S. Even the world! But at the end of the day, did I get the credit that I deserved? Was I shown respect? Were there any signs of appreciation? Of course not. All the credit and the love and the support got thrown Blaine Harrison’s way. The same man who tucked his tail between his legs after I beat the hell out of him for the umpteenth time. The same man who blatantly admitted that he left that company for the bright lights, the bigger stadiums and the chance to be seen every week on HBO. He proved himself to be the fraud that I said he was the entire time. But instead of getting “thank you, Chandler”, I got nothing but “screw you, Chandler”.

(Chandler shakes his head over the lack of appreciation.)

Chandler: Then came the war between FGA and pwF. It all started because Pat Gordon, Jr didn’t know which company he was actually signing with. Not that that’s much of a surprise since he clearly doesn’t know his head from his ass. So seeing two companies with lion logos and a “frontier” in them, it’s easy to see how an imbecile like him would get confused. But this is where things get interesting. FRONTIER had the nerve to crash one of our events. And who was the man out at the front? Who was the one waving the flag for pwF? None other than everyone’s golden boy, Kevin Hardaway. Oh yes, he ran Gordon down. He showed him nothing but disrespect. And just as Hardaway and his cohorts were about to send Gordon’s head flying into the front row, guess who made the save? Guess who was the first person out of that FGA locker room to come to his aid? Was it A.J. Fairchild? Ryan Kidd? How about Jared James, was it him? It damn sure wasn’t Blaine Harrison. It was me. I was the one who saved Gordon’s hide. That’s right. Chandler Scott. The one that’s so “selfish”. The one that “only cares about himself”. The one that’s so “self absorbed”. I care so much about myself that I put my neck on the line for Gordon while everyone else in the back was twiddling their thumbs. And after the ring was cleared, do you think that FGA praised me for my heroics? Do you think that Gordon had the decency to say thank you? Of course not. And to this day, that bastard and everyone else in that company has yet to say thank you.

After FGA lost the first three matches of FRONTIER vs FGA, I was the one who pinned Gabriel Gambino in the main event. I was the one who had FGA going out on a high note. But was I given any respect? No!
After Hardaway was rightfully FIRED from this company last December, he came slithering his way over to FGA like the snake that he is. And after some crocodile tears and a bunch of other dramatics, suddenly Hardaway was one of them. Suddenly Hardaway was embraced by everyone. The same man who led an attack on FGA and called this company every name in the book was now some hero. Yet the real hero, aka ME, was getting booed out of every building that we were in.

(Chandler throws his hands in the air in disbelief.)

Chandler: Fast forward to April of 2013, when I not only beat Kevin Hardaway just like I said I would. But I snapped his wrist like a Kit Kat bar and put him out of commission. I had won every single championship that company had to offer. And oh yeah, I also broke the Unbreakable. But was I shown any respect? Of course not.

As an outsider, I came into pwF, worked my way up to the top and captured one of the most prestigious prizes in all of wrestling – the GFC World Heavyweight Championship. Do you think that I was shown any respect by FGA? Do you think any of the guys over there congratulated me? Of course not. But let it had been Blaine Harrison. Or even better, let it had been Kevin Hardaway who did this. That company would be airing non-stop tribute marathons to that s.o.b. But me? I get absolutely nothing.

Respect. Achieve. Ascend. That used to be FGA’s slogan. Those words are what that company used to stand for. But I know first hand that it’s nothing but a bunch of BS. Ascend? I ascended to the top. Achieve? I’ve won everything there is to win in FGA. But Respect? RESPECT? Oh, I’ve shown FGA respect time and time and TIME again! But where was their respect? Where was their show of respect towards me? I stayed during the good times, the bad times and even the ugly times. While others constantly let you down, I exceeded expectations. While everyone else jumped ship, I remained on board. While every “big name” on the indy scene flocked to FGA once it became the hip new thing, I was there wrestling my ass off in front of 80 people at the goddamn Inman Sports Club!

(Chandler stares off into the crowd, now seething and trembling with anger.)

Chandler: I have always, ALWAYS been there for FGA. Yet what has it gotten me? Nothing but disrespect! Constantly being slapped… no, SPAT in the face! Constantly being overlooked so they can praise their golden boys like Ben Hanson or their new poster child Kevin Hardaway! But let me tell you something. I’m better than Hanson, better than Hardaway, better than Fairchild, better than Q, Bond, Harter, Drake. I’m better than every goddamn person that ever stepped foot in that company!
I am sick and tired of being called upon when it’s convenient for you. I’m tired of being the savior and getting nothing in return. I’m tired of being taken advantage of. As far as I’m concerned, this abusive relationship between myself and FGA…. it’s OVER!

(The fans begin to speculate amongst themselves as a wry smirk creeps out of the corner of Chandler’s mouth.)

My contract with that company expired on June 25, mere days after All-Star Showdown II. They had approached me about signing an extension two weeks before that event. I never bothered to even turn past the first page. On June 26, they faxed over a new contract. Incentives, perks, the works. Here’s the contract. I was going to sign it….

(Chandler takes the contract out of his pocket. He holds it in the air, showing it to the crowd…..before ripping it into six or seven pieces and then flinging it in the air. The crowd cheers as the paper falls down around Chandler.)

Chandler: But I changed my mind! No longer will I be taken advantage of. No longer will I be disrespected. I’m not universally liked in the FRONTIER locker room. There’s some people here that can’t stand the sight of me. But you want to know what the difference is? They acknowledge my talent. They show me the respect that I’ve earned in the ring. And it doesn’t matter if they hate me or they like me, they congratulated me when I won the GFC World Heavyweight Championship – something that not one FGA “star” has done to this very day.

They say that home is where the heart is. Well, my heart is firmly with Frontier. Pro-Wrestling FRONTIER, that is.

(The crowd cheers as Chandler looks around with a smile on his face.)

Chandler: As far as I’m concerned, every single person in FGA, from the guys in the office, to the lowly referees, to the ring rats like Heather Halliwell and Camellia D. Magna, all the way up to that vagabond masquerading as a champion Chris Q. You can all go to hell!

August 25. FRONTIER vs FGA II. We’re coming. FRONTIER is coming. And we’re not just coming to prove that we’re the better wrestling company. That much is clearly a given. But we’re coming to put you out of your misery.

Veritas…

In addition, Chandler was allegedly seen trying to recruit FGA and FRONTIER star Alexia Brandt to the FRONTIER side. No word on if the "Third Wave Threat" has made her decision one way or the other. But things have certainly gotten interesting. We'll keep you updated on this situation, and everything involving FRONTIER vs FGA 2, right here at FGA Online.
