The personal issues between the FGA Heavyweight Champion and the current number one contender continue to escalate...
Chris Q didn't waste any time trying to dispel to recent achievements of Sean Sands.
The Big Bad of FGA kicked off the Chicago Ridge DVD Taping by trying to get into the head of his opponent. The last time we saw Q, he was urinating all over Sands' personal belongings during Sands' match with Johnny Karma. And this past Saturday, Q picked up right where he left off by urinating all over Sands' accomplishments.
"There is no comparison between what Sands did and what I have done. I didn't luck out and win some one night tournament like Sands. I didn't get a title shot by lucking into last place and throwing one guy over the top rope like Dom Harter," said the champion. "Chris Q got his shot and this title the hard way... by leaving a pile of bodies wherever I went. I didn't fluke into a title shot. It was my body of work, and the bodies I piled up, that forced the suits to make me the number one contender. They had no other choice."
Chris Q went on to say that, "I’m going to take all of his momentum, the crowd support, his boyish good looks, and I’m going to crush all of it. I am going to make him play the Chris Q game and I will tell all of you right now, Sean Sands doesn't have what it takes to survive."
But Sands once again refused to back down from the Heavyweight Champion. Sands confronted Q, letting him know that he's not afraid of him...
"I can hear the desperation in your voice when you talk. Every single time you open your mouth to speak since I've been named the number one contender, I've heard the desperation in your voice. You are scared because you know I have the talent, Q. Whether you want to admit it or not, you know I can go toe-to-toe with anyone in this ring," Sands said. "You hold on to that title and you hold onto it like it is your soul. Like it is your life. At Respect Is Earned, you are not walking out as the FGA Heavyweight Champion."
This obviously didn't sit well with Chris Q, who made his presence felt immediately after the night's main event.
After Sands was able to defeat the Head Crow of The Murder, Malcolm Drake, Q immediately knocked down Sands from behind. He then proceeded to take Sands' Frontier Lions Cup trophy and repeatedly attacked him with it. The Big Bad then stood over the downed Sands as he held his title high in "victory."
While these two will meet at "Respect is Earned" for the FGA Heavyweight Championship, these two will also be in the same building in Dearborn, Michigan. On October 12, Sean Sands takes on undefeated newcomer, Jimmy Page. And Chris Q takes on the immensely talented Madman Szalinski in non-title action. Can FGA Officials keep these two from tearing each other apart before "Respect is Earned"? We'll find out on 10/12 in Dearborn.
