Bond Speaks

Chris Bond speaks for the first time since his attack last Saturday.

As of Tuesday, April 8, not much information is being released on the severity of Chris Bond’s injury suffered at the hands of Kevin Hardaway, this past Saturday Evening in Hershey, PA.

What FGA Online can report is that the doctors are refusing to medically clear Chris Bond for any competition in the near future. This leaves Kevin Hardaway’s challenge up in the air. That was until Chris Bond returned our call for comment.

“Kevin Hardaway wants to cheap shot me? Hardaway wants to push all of his frustrations out on me? He was the one who got pinned a couple of weeks ago, not me. Kevin Hardaway was also the one unable to kick out at International Incident. He wants to call himself the ‘Voice of the Violence’… then so be it.

I don’t care what any white coat says. I officially accept Kevin’s challenge and I will see him at Only the Strong Survive.

I may be many things, and I may have done many things that I’m not proud of in my life. But I am and will always be #FGAProud.

Kev wants a war? He’s gonna get one.”

Ignoring medical advice, Chris Bond vows to compete against Kevin Hardaway in a little over a week and half from now at Only the Strong Survive.

How will Bond be able to handle himself heading into a match when he’s not even 100-percent? How will this effect his performance in the Gold Rush Rumble? What will Kevin Hardaway have planned for the two-time Pride Champion? We here at FGA Online don’t expect this to be a technically sound contest, but one of the most brutal matches in recent history.

Only the Strong Survive comes to you live Saturday, April 19, 2014 from the Bender Arena in Washington, D.C..
