* Cordy Stevenson wins the 3rd Annual "Frontier Lions Cup" tournament. Stevenson had a tough road, defeating former Pride Champion Johnny Karma as well as rising star Tony Carmine. She faced her toughest test in the finals when she had to defeat her tag team partner and best friend, Cyncity. Stevenson will be presented her Frontier Lions Cup trophy during the Columbus DVD Taping on September 6.
* Bob Pooler made his surprising return at Above & Beyond III, defeating Larkyn and Chaths in the semis of the Rey del Aire tournament. He then went on to face off against the dynamic Ash in the finals. Ash looked to have had the match in the bag. But Pooler was able to counter her finish with a folding powerbomb. Pooler then proceeded to put his feet on the ropes during the pin, cheating Ash out of the win and the Rey del Aire trophy. A former two-time former Tag Champion, Pooler adds another piece of hardware to his collection.
* Riley Owens was able to best Kevin Hardaway to retain his Pride Championship. Riley started off the match very aggressive, implementing the kimura into his offense. After Riley jumped out to a 1-0 lead, Hardaway attacked Riley with a steel chair during the mandatory rest period. After wearing Riley down, the former Pride Champion was able to tie up the match. During the closing moments, Riley applied the White Noise for the first time in FGA. Hardaway was able to place his foot on the ropes. But due to him exhausting all three rope breaks, the ref had no choice but to allow Riley to keep the hold applied. It wasn't long before the pain became unbearable, causing Hardaway to tap.
* The Sparklebuddies may have lost the Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament in June. But they made the most of their second shot at the belts. The team of Laurel Anne Hardy and Annie Zellor were able to end the historic reign of the Super Mario Wrestling Bros. The SMWB went into Above & Beyond III with the longest title reign in company history. But Max Powers and Landon Knight weren't able to overcome the Sparkle Power of their opponents.
* After nearly nine months in the making, Jimmy Page was finally able to get Dom Harter one on one. Harter had bested Page at every turn, from winning the Gold Rush Rumble to forcing Dan Herrera to be included in the All-Star Showdown III main event. Page may have won the championship during that match. But he wasn't the one that eliminated Harter from the match. That distinction went to Herrera. But this time, it was just the Tenacious Little Bastard and the King of the F'n World. No third wheel. No loopholes. Just two men who hated each other with every fiber in their bearing. After a hard hitting contest that saw both men busted open, Page was finally able to exact revenge and retain his World Championship.
