Two new matches have been added to FGA's next supershow
On Saturday, October 18, the #Sparklebuddies will defend their World Tag Team Championship against The Black Hand. The team of Chris "Mayhem" Madison and "The American Highlife" Tommy Knox have made it no secret that winning the titles was their main goal. Right out of the gate, these two looked to be the next in line and weren't about to wait for anyone. After confronting Annie Zellor backstage during the Columbus DVD Taping, the two men jumped her. The very next night in Dearborn, MI, the two attacked Laurel Anne Hardy's other partner, Evangelista. The following event in Chicago Ridge saw the duo jump Chaz Holiday after his title match. But the #Sparklebuddies, as well as Evangelista, would come out to drive off The Black Hand. If The Black Hand wanted a title shot, all they had to do was ask. They're going to get their shot at Capital Combat. But now, they're going to get "a sparkly ass kicking."
Also announced is a Pride Championship Match pitting Riley Owens against Sunshine Scandalous Tony Carmine. It's no secret that these two cannot stand each other. Part of Riley's new edge has been because of the constant attacks, both verbal and literal, from Carmine. Over the past few weeks, Sunny has impressed in his outings. Despite coming up short in the Frontier Lions Cup, he drew with Annie Zellor and holds victories over both Riley and Chaz. After laying out Riley with #PimpShit at the conclusion of the Dearborn Taping, Tony is looking to lay him out once more. This time, during a sanctioned match. Can Riley, who some have called the best Pride Championship in history, once again fend off another tough challenge and walk out with his title? Or does Tony have Riley's number.
These are just two of the matches that you will see on Capital Combat. Of course, there's also the main event where Jimmy Page will defend his FGA World Championship against the 2014 Frontier Lions Cup winner, Cordelia Stevenson! Since crossing paths with Saint Sexy, the self-proclaimed "King of the F'N World" has become infatuated with her. He has gone to great lengths to win her affections. After putting on a suit, getting an edge up, and giving Cordy a bunch of gifts including her favorite flowers, Page declared his love for her in front of everyone. All Page wanted was for for her to let him love her. But it was in Chicago Ridge that Cordy saw through all of Pages games. It was there that she finally realized that not only was he not taking her seriously as a challenger, but the only thing Page wanted from her was a roll in the hay. Heartbroken, Page was left despondent. He vowed to make Cordy love him. After disposing of Johnny Karma, Page would try to do just that... as he dragged out Cordy's best friend and Sex Sells teammate, Cyncity. Page threatened to harm Cyncity unless Cordy told him that he loved her. Cordy tried to talk him off the ledge, including reluctantly telling Page that she loved him. But Page wasn't buying it and ended up clobbering Cyncity with a steel chair. Now, at Capital Combat, the World Championship is no longer at the top of Cordy's list of priorities. Now, she's out for revenge. Will Cordy be able to avenge her best friend? Or will Page destroy the object of his affection?
