Dom Harter looked to become a three-time Gold Rush Rumble winner after once again getting the last spot in the Rumble. But it was Cordy Stevenson that was the last grappler standing, earning herself a FGA World Championship Match at All-Star Showdown IV. Also in this contest, Zero McHannon set a new record for eliminations with 7. Evangelista also set a new record for longest time in the Rumble with 44 minutes.
After weeks of abuse from Cyncity, Johnny Karma, with the help of Cherry Baum, was finally able to defeat Cyncity. The two had met the previous April at All-Star Showdown III after Karma took exception to Cyncity breaking his then-record for longest time lasted in a Gold Rush Rumble.
Fujiko Mine was able win a Battle Royal back in March for the vacant Mid-Atlantic Legacy Championship. But the match was surrounded in controversy as Noelle Smith had eliminated Fujiko from the match. But since the referees never saw the elimination occur, Fujiko was able to maneuver her way back into the match and eliminate Noelle. After weeks of arguing over who was the rightful Mid-Atlantic Legacy Champion, the argument was decided at Glory Road, when Noelle was able to bets Fujiko in a Ladder Match to become the undisputed champion.
The team of Annie Zellor & Laurel Anne Hardy ended the Tag Title reign of The Spitfires at Glory Road. Colton Sterling & Ashley Sullivan hadn't defended the titles since Janaury and this was going to be their first test in quite some time. Despite beating the #sparklebuddies last December for the belts, Zellor & Hardy were able to one up them this time around. The Spitfires will not be looking for a rematch as Sullivan has decided not to re-up with FGA.
Mia Scott had defeated Dom Harter 2-0 during their previous Pride Championship match. But Harter was able to use the rules in his favor, getting himself intentionally disqualified against Mia. Since championships cannot change hands via DQ or count out, Mia was able to win the match but not the title. Harter wasn't looking to give Mia a rematch anytime soon. But it was too late, as Mia had a contract drawn up for a rematch. It was in this match that he was the Tenacious Little Bastard tapped out for the first time in his FGA career, giving both the deciding fall and the title to Mia.
Chandler Scott was the only champion on this show to retain his title. But it wouldn't be easy as he took on former champion Jimmy Page. The self-proclaimed King of the F'n World got the jump on Chandler on his way to the ring, spending several minutes beating on the champion. Chandler tried to fight back. But every time Chandler looked to mount a comeback, Page was right there to cut him off. This was a back and forth, hard-hitting affair. Despite Page's best efforts, Chandler was able to best him for the second pay per view in a row, retaining his championship. He's now on a collission course with mandatory #1 contender Cordy Stevenson at All-Star Showdown IV.
