On 8/23, Chris Q will return to an FGA ring for the first time in over a year. On the 8/9 DVD Taping, a vignette aired promoting the return of The Big Bad. Chris Q was last seen in an FGA ring on 3/8/14. Two days later, Chris Q would be stripped of his World Championship and suspended indefinitely after assaulting a TV exec, effectively costing FGA their deal. As Q was sentenced to jail time, FGA cut their ties with the former three-time World Champion.
After spending over eight months in jail, Chris Q returns to the company that he once dominated. But FGA has not signed him to a contract. Instead, FGA has given Q a per appearance deal. The premise behind the deal is that Q has to exemplify good behavior for an undetermined period of time before he is offered a full contract. If Q meets the company's requirements, then they will happily offer him a deal. However, if Q does anything to violate said agreements, then they will cut their ties with him. With FGA's Vertigo debut on WGN America right around the corner, FGA is being extra cautious with the highly volatile and controversial grappler. Only time will tell how Q's story ends.
