Cyncity's dream finally came true. After being overlooked for the past two years, Cindy Parker defeated Zero McHannon to become the new FGA World Champion. This was Cyncity's first World Title shot and she made the most of it. The win makes her the first female to ever win the World Championship. Many assumed that Cordelia Stevenson would be the first woman to become FGA World Champion. If anyone was going to have championship success in the singles ranks, most assumed it would be Saint Sexy. But it was her Sex Sells partner, the former "No DVD Tapings Off", that was able to beat her to the punch. Cyncity is one of the sweetest and most beloved athletes throughout the industry. That was very apparent with the outpour of congratulations that came in the wake of her big win.
Luke Jackson and Ricky Valero did the unthinkable by becoming the new World Tag Team Champions. Over the past two months, the duo was able to put their past behind them and work towards their goal of becoming Tag Champs. Standing in their way was Dexter Jacobs, the reigning World Tag Team Champion. Dexter elected not to find a replacement partner to defend the Tag Titles with. Despite the questionable decision, Dexter faired very well for himself throughout large portions of the match. But in the end, the numbers game became too much and now, both Jackson and Valero can call themselves champions.
While Canadian Stampede saw the crowning of two new champions, reigning champions Tony Carmine and Izzy Anders were able to retain their gold. Carmine was able to fend off a valiant effort from Noelle Smith. Carmine has been the antithesis of the Pride Division ever since winning the Pride Championship. His underhanded tactics were once again on full display in this one. But Smith wouldn't back down. She was able to overcome a lot of Carmine's offense and tied the match up 1-1. During the third and decisive fall, it looked as if we were going to get a new champion. But once again, Carmine was able to defy another challenger and secure a victory.
Anders was able to successfully defend her championship against Salem Cartier. Cartier came into FGA red hot. The Witch had a nice little streak going and was even able to fight Jimmy Page to two draws. But she's cooled off recently with losses to Carmine and a tag match with Anders. The tag match in question ended with Anders intentionally striking her partner after Cartier accidentally struck her. The title match had already been made official prior to the tag match. But tensions were definitely high in the fallout of the tag loss. As she's shown many times before, Cartier didn't wilt under the pressure in this high profile match. Cartier once again showed that she could compete with the champions of FGA. But competing against champions and defeating champions are two different things. Despite a great effort, Anders was able to fend off another challenger.
