Sunshine Scandalous Heads Off Into The Sunset.
On yesterday's edition of Vertigo, Tony Carmine officially announced his retirement from professional wrestling. Carmine was injured at last month's All-Star Shodown V pay per view. Carmine took a back body drop from Zero McHannon to the floor. But Carmine over-rotated and smacked face-first on an unprotected part of the floor. Carmine was immediately knocked out and was then carted off by medical personnel.
After initially starting out in late 2010, it was in HKW in 2013 where Carmine began to further learn the ropes after a hiatus. He then made his way to FGA in 2014. During the course of his two year stay in FGA, he captured the Pride Championship a record two times. In 2015, he captured the Frontier Lions Cup and in 2016, he co-won the Gold Rush Rumble with Johnny Carmine.
