Zero Hour

Former champion makes shocking appearance.

During the aftermath of October's Retribution pay-per-view, then-World Champion Zero McHannon took the championship and stormed out of the promotion, leaving the promotion without a top champion. To combat this, the FGA Executive Committee quickly responded, removing McHannon from the roster and no longer recognizing him as the World Champion. With McHannon gone, FGA then announced the Wildcard Lottery, a tournament to crown a new World Champion. At the Five Year Anniversary Show, Cordy Stevenson was finally able to capture the championship that had alluded her for the past two years.

During this past Saturday's Final Frontier pay-per-view, the team of Stevenson, Johnny Karma and Dom Harter defeated The Usual Suspects and Anthony Rother. While Stevenson celebrated alone in the ring, the lights abruptly shut off. When they came back on, the Albany, NY crowd was stunned when McHannon stood behind her. It didn't take long for McHannon to strike, delivering his pattened Zero Tolerance finisher to lay out the champion.

What does this mean going forward? All inquires regarding the McHannon situation have been met with "no comment" from members of the FGA Office.

We'll have more information as this story develops.
