More details surrounding the shocking return.
At Final Frontier, Zero McHannon reappeared and attacked Cordy Stevenson at the conclusion of the evening's main event. This past Saturday on Vertigo, McHannon appeared again. Unlike at Final Frontier, where McHannon let his actions do all the talking, he was quick to take the mic this time. McHannon proclaimed himself as the rightful FGA World Champion, stating that he had never been pinned for "his" championship before walking out on the company last October. Of course, this didn't sit well with the crowd or the current FGA World Champion, Cordy Stevenson. Stevenson was quick to come out and confront the man that was claiming to be the only World Champion. During the intense back and forth, Stevenson stood her ground, defending the company and her position as the ONLY FGA World Champion. As of right now, here's what we do know re: McHannon's status with the promotion.
- McHannon is once again an active member of the roster.
- McHannon has not signed a new deal. He is still on the same contract that he signed in the Spring of 2015. At the time of his walkout last October, it was revealed that he had a year and a half left on the contract at the time.
- McHannon was forced to pay a large undisclosed fine for all the show dates he missed, including media and other obligations.
- In regards to his claim as being the only FGA World Champion, members of the Championship Committee have declined to comment.
