Re: Important Flashpoint Announcements
Allcon,
Hey everyone, it’s the new General Manager of what will surely become the #1 event destination for the best wrestling that Frontier Grappling Arts has to offer. I’ve decided upon some very important changes to the Flashpoint format that I believe will add to the enjoyment of the fans in attendance and those watching around the world. Effective immediately, the following changes will be made to the Flashpoint brand. I hope that they are agreeable to those on the roster and those higher up than me. And if not, we will work to ensure that they are molded and conformed to in such a way that my vision will be seen on Flashpoint through these changes.
#1: There will be no more wrestlers on microphones to start off Flashpoint shows. In the last 20 years, wrestling shows have predictably started with a wrestler coming out to the ring to start the show by airing important grievances, celebrating a win on a previous show, or just to pump up the crowd in attendance. I am changing this format to switch things up and make the beginning of Flashpoint even more exciting. Instead of any promos or appearances to start off the show, I want to kick off the show with a bang. To start off Flashpoint we will go right into the action in the ring with wrestling, with names you would expect to appear in the main event starting off the opening contest. Thus ensuring the show is starting off with the hottest wrestling action Flashpoint can provide from the jump.
#2: I was surprised after the FGA Draft by Vertigo’s big signing of Kol. It was a great surprise for Vertigo and one that I was not prepared for when it happened. I’m still working my own ways to find free agents that may fit with the vision I have for Flashpoint. While I hear that Vertigo GM Brandon McDonald already has some more big names in mind for Vertigo. Macdonald seems to want to make Vertigo the land of the stars. That is fine by me. But not all stars shine forever and I will ensure that not only does Flashpoint have the brightest stars wrestling for us, but I will also look to the future to ensure those up and coming stars are bred and given the space they need to become all their ambition and talent will become. Flashpoint despite any moves by Vertigo, will move forward to become the best wrestling product in FGA.
#3: I am making changes to the way the Fifteen Championship is held and defended in FGA. From now on, after four successful Fifteen Championship defenses, the champion can choose to turn in the championship for a shot at the FGA Pride Championship. I’m sure you are curious how this will work considering the two belts are held on different shows. I have worked an agreement with Vertigo GM Macdonald and FGA officials. If the Fifteen Champion cashes in, they will challenge for the Pride Championship on Vertigo programming. Should the former Fifteen champion win the Pride Championship, they will then earn the right to decide whether to stay on Vertigo or bring the title over to Flashpoint. The Fifteen Championship will continue to stay on the Flashpoint brand.
#4: I am happy to say that with the Chaotics recent win in the Dynamic Duos, they have earned a FGA World Tag Team Championship shot. The match will take place on the November 4th Flashpoint at the Six Year Anniversary Show. This match is a great start to what will be a great night overall for FGA wrestling. I look forward to seeing my own 11th pick in the Polychromatic Lion Attack Squad take on the Dynamic Duos winners.
I have many more ideas that are reaching their final forms and will soon bring those to you all as well. But for now, these are the thoughts on my mind for Flashpoint that I had to let everyone know about. Thank you to everyone for their continued support of not only me, but Flashpoint and Frontier Grappling Arts. I am happy to be the general manager of one of FGA’s two brands and promise that I will do everything in my power to make Flashpoint the talk of wrestling fans everywhere the week leading up to and after each show. Thanks for your time.
Yours truly,
Hadley Herrera
