Tuesday News Update

Rundown of the latest news from around FGA.

On Flashpoint 2.1, FGA Official Leonard T. Asherman was on the receiving end of an attack from Izzy Anders. Anders left the 55 year old laying motionless in the ring before walking out of the arena. The official was later diagnosed with a Grade III Concussion and has slowly been improving over the last several weeks. Despite the walkout, Anders remained under contract. Prior to her walkout, plans were in place for her to challenge the FGA Undisputed Champion at the Six Year Anniversary Show. At the time, there was no disciplinary action given to Anders. However, earlier this evening, Anders was informed that she had been released from her contract. Her contract was scheduled to end in late December.

The FGA Hall of Fame ceremony will take place this Friday night in Chicago, IL at 9pm Eastern, 8pm local time. The event will be shown exclusively on AxxessNet. The following night, FGA will host it's Six Year Anniversary Show, which will be headlined by Cordy Stevenson vs. Chandler Scott. The 6YA Show will also be shown exclusively on AxxessNet.

In injury news, Elon Elysian suffered a knee injury at the hands of The New Murder this past Saturday on Vertigo. Two weeks prior, his brother, Emery Elysian, was taken out with a knee injury at the hands of Chris Bond. There is no timetable on the return of the former FGA World Tag Team Champions. It is also being reported that FGA Undisputed Champion Johnny Karma suffered an undisclosed injury during the attack by The New Murder at the close of Saturday's Vertigo. There's no word at this time if GM Brandon Macdonald has implemented any disciplinary action on the group. However, sources say that if Macdonald doesn't take action, then FGA Officials will step in.

In related news, The Crimson Baroness, the valet/fiancé of Chris Bond, was attacked after the show by Jimmy Page. No word on if any punishment has been handed down to him by Macdonald.

Various outdoor venues are being looked at as possible sites for All-Star Showdown VII next year.

Officials are finalizing plans for an international team event in early 2018. The titles "Global Frontier Cup" and "World Frontier Cup" have been suggested as possible names for the event.

Both Macdonald and Flashpoint GM Hadley Herrera have been sending out scouts to evaluate several tag teams in SCCW, TCW, RISE and NKP.
