This past Saturday Night, Frontier Grappling Arts held its Pride, Honor & Excellence supershow. The event, which was held at the Grand Ballroom inside the Manhattan Center, saw several twists, turns and at least one new champion crowned.

Ryan Kidd looked to not only get some well deserved revenge on both A.J. Fairchild and Preston Blake, but to finally get the FGA Championship went he took them on in a Triple Threat Ladder Match. Kidd wanted it so bad that he even put his FGA career on the line. After Fairchild stabbed Kidd in the back and attacked his girlfriend twice, and after Preston repeatedly stuck his nose in business that it didn't belong, the SoCal Superstar looked to finish things once for all. And after all three of these daredevils brutalized each other with the ladder, it appeared as though Ryan Kidd was finally about to win the big one. But just as Kidd went to grab the title, the lights went off. When they came back on, he was attacked by The Murder. The Murder then knocked Kidd off the ladder and assaulted him with repeated chair shots. Pat Gordon, Jr, Bob Pooler and Johnny Blayze ran them off. But by that point, the damage was already done. And with Kidd down and Preston previously powerbombed through double stacked tables on the outside, Fairchild climbed the ladder and was able to secure his championship.
But this wasn't the first time that The Murder decided to attack in numbers. Pat Gordon, Jr has been stewing over his chance to get his hands on Dom Harter for weeks now. On Saturday Night, he finally got his chance. Gordon showed no regard for Harter. And rightfully so. But Gordon, Jr's hatred got the best of him. As he planted Harter on the outside with a DDT on the floor, both men ended up being counted out. After arguing with the referee after the match, Malcolm Drake decided to attack. And once Harter came to his senses, it became a standard 2 on 1 Murder attack. That was, until Bob Pooler made the save. Pooler, who saved both Gordon, Jr and then-FGA grappler Akrista O'Haire a month ago, came to the Southie Scrapper's aid again. Closely following him was Johnny Blayze, who helped Pooler fend off The Murder.
Despite their repeated attacks, one man did claim a victory over a member of The Murder on Saturday Night. Kevin Hardaway met Malcolm Drake in the finals of the Pride Championship Tournament. After getting a close count out fall over Drake, Hardaway was able to deliver The End of Heartache, becoming FGA's first Pride Champion and keeping the belt out of The Murder's posession. But Hardaway's victory didn't last long as Anton Chase, who has attacked and antogonized Hardaway for weeks, once again made his presence known. Hardaway called Chase into the ring. But Chase declined, saying that he'd meet him in the ring "on our time."
In what was arguably the match of the night, two battled tested veterans put on a clinic as Leon Corella took on Jake Winchester. These two ring general gave each other their best shot, countering and one upping each other at several turns. But on this night, Jake Winchester proved to be the craftier of the two as he got the win. After the match, Corella offered his hand in respect. But Winchester looked none too pleased and smacked Corella's hand away.
After weeks of arguing back and forth, Danielle Tyler and Johnny Blayze finally had their return match. It was during the initial encounter that Johnny Blayze walked away with the win. But that wasn't the only thing he walked away with. While Blayze got the win, he also walked away with some bruised ribs. Tyler looked to once again injure Blayze. But Blayze was able to get the better of her once again, walking away with the win and sending Tyler packing from FGA.
