Gold Rush Rumble Names Announced

On April 28, Frontier Grappling Arts will present its latest supercard, "Only The Strong Survive." The event will take place at the Case Gymnasium from the University of Boston. One of the marquee matches will be the Gold Rush Rumble. This Rumble will see many of FGA's finest battling it out to become the #1 contender for the FGA Championship. Below are the first batch of names to be announced for the match.

Jake Winchester
The Syracuse native is apart of the first batch of names to be entered into the Gold Rush Rumble. Winchester is no stranger to multi-man matches as he was apart of the "Mixed Bag" 8-Man Tag Match from Final Frontier. Despite ending 2012 with a loss, he's been red hot in 2013. The only blemish on his record came in the semifinals of the Pride Championship Tournament, where he was beaten by eventual winner Kevin Hardaway. After a tremendous match with Leon Corella at Pride, Honor and Excellence, Winchester is looking to give all the other participants in this match a lesson in "Old School."

The Murder (Malcolm Drake & Dom Harter)
Whether it is their sneak attacks, injuring opponents or running people out of FGA, The Murder have left their mark in the early part of 2013. The tandem of Malcolm Drake and Dom Harter have proven to be as dangerous as they are talented. Despite some tough losses as of late, these crows are still a huge threat to anyone on the FGA roster. And with both members now entered into the Gold Rush Rumble, there's no telling what these two have in store.

Pat Gordon, Jr
Despite just getting his first win in FGA in 2013, Pat Gordon, Jr has been highly successful outside of the company. Most notably when he won the UWL World Heavyweight Championship. The Southie Scrapper is looking to capture the FGA Championship as well. But he'll have to go through several of FGA's finest to get that shot. However, with both members of The Murder also involved in this match, will Gordon, Jr be focused on winning the Rumble? Or will he be more concerned with gaining revenge?

Kevin Hardaway
Kevin Hardaway has taken the formula which brought him two GFC World Heavyweight Championships in pwF and brought it over to the other side of the pond. Since entering FGA, K-Hard has remained undefeated. It was nearly a month ago when he became the first-ever Pride Champion. After a successful title defense this past Saturday, Hardaway is looking to become the first man in FGA history to hold two belts at the same time. But he'll have to outlast his opponents and win the Rumble to even get a shot at the FGA Championship.

During next week's DVD taping in Elizabeth, New Jersey, more names will be announced for the Gold Rush Rumble.
