Newswire (4/23)

In this latest newswire, two big matches have been announced for the 5/11-5/12 double shot weekend.

It has just been learned from the FGA Headquarters that on the 5/11 DVD Taping in Erie, Pennsylvania, Bob Pooler will meet the winner of Kevin Hardaway vs. Chandler Scott for the Pride Championship. On the 3/23 DVD Taping in Elizabeth, PA, Pooler defeated Hardaway in a non-title match. On the 4/6 DVD Taping from New York City, Pooler and Hardaway fought to a draw. Could we potentially see Pooler-Hardaway III? Or will the self-proclaimed "True Pride of FGA" defend his newly won championship against Pooler? We'll have to wait until Only the Strong Survive to see just who Pooler will be facing.

On the 5/12 DVD Taping from Ocean City, Maryland, the winner of the Gold Rush Rumble will face the winner of Chris Q vs. Chris Bond for the FGA Championship. FGA Officials are not wasting any time with giving the winner of the Gold Rush Rumble the opportunity to challenge for the FGA Championship. It was noted above that Pooler will get a Pride Championship Match on 5/11. If Pooler is somehow able to not only win the Rumble but the Pride and FGA Championships as well, Pooler could be walking home a big time winner. But Pooler is just one of the many names participating in the nearly two dozen grappler, over-the-top-rope Gold Rush Rumble.

Speaking of Only the Strong Survive, FGA's latest supershow will take place at the Case Gymnasium at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. Tickets are still available. But they will not last. Order now!

Three more dates have been announced post-Only the Strong Survive. On May 25, FGA returns to the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY. On June 8, FGA returns to Plymouth Memorial Hall in Plymouth, MA. And on July 6, FGA makes its Connecticut debut inside the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT.
