Lion's Den Fighting Championships, FGA's sister company/developmental system, held its second tryout camp of the year on November 30 and December 1. Lead by Head Trainer Chris Bond and Assistant Head Trainer Riley Owens, LDFC instructors put these aspiring wrestlers through drills that tested their strength and conditioning. Also under evaluation were in-ring technique, attitude, promos, appearance, mindset and potential. Given the time of the year, there were not as many attendees as there were during the initial tryouts, which were held during the middle of the summer. But out of the dozen plus men and women that took part in the tryouts, here is who stood out the most.
Name: Credo.
Twitter: @LuchaCredoLucha
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 200 lbs
Hometown: Ciudad Juarez, Mexico by way of San Antonio, Texas
This young luchadore carried himself like a star the moment he walked through the doors. But there wasn't a cockiness to him. But there was a certain presence to him. He exuded charisma. This immediately caught the attention of all of the LDFC trainers. Credo further impressed when he stepped in the ring, blowing everyone away with his speed, athleticism and technical ability. The son of legend Mexican star Corazón de León, this second generation wrestler is looking to live up to his family name while stepping out of his father's shadow. LDFC could provide the platform for him to re-establish himself in the U.S.
