Champion now out.
Due to a disagreement with management, Whiskey Ayano has opted to leave FGA effective immediately. While not a fully contracted member of the roster, Ayano, along with fellow tag team champion Dexter Jacobs, competed as guests for the promotion. Their tenure with the company started earlier this year, when the team known as Whiskey Dex entered and ultimately won the Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament. The duo then rode that momentum into a Tag Title Match, where they defeated the #sparklebuddies.
The duo had successfully defended their championship at this past Saturday's Final Frontier pay per view, where they defeated the team of Annie Zellor and her partner for the evening, the returning "Metal Heart" Ben Hanson. Despite the successful defense, Ayano has decided to part ways with the company and has surrendered her half of the FGA Tag Team Championship.
Whether Jacobs will find a replacement partner or defend the titles by himself remains to be seen. In the meantime, FGA is reportedly planning a "lottery" style tournament of sorts to determine the next #1 contenders to the Tag Team Titles.
