At Canadian Stampede, Cyncity achieved her dreams by defeated Zero McHannon to become the new FGA World Champion. But during the FGA After Show for the PPV, Zero McHannon was overheard saying that he could've kicked out of the small package. After being confronted by Cyncity during this past Saturday's Vertigo, Zero tried to evade the question. But things quickly turned contentious between the two friends. It was then that Zero finally told the truth. In his own words:
"You want the truth? Fine, I’ll give you the truth! I let you win! Even with that, we blew the damn roof off that building with one of the greatest matches anyone can pay for to watch! Is that what you wanted to hear, Cindy?! You won off a roll up. I could’ve broken that pin, but I thought it was the best time to let you have your time. I’ve been a world champion, I’ve had my moment. I didn’t threaten to have retirement matches or any of that sh*t!"
"The rest of this locker room? You aren’t anything like them. You appreciated everything I’ve done since I showed up at the Gold Rush Rumble. You treated me like a friend. You know what the hell you’re doing and you don’t put up with the bullsh*t. You don’t play overly nice just so that people will respect you by being nice to the pieces of sh*t that roam this hallway. You stand up for yourself. You’re yourself. TWO YEARS! You deserved this moment. No one should’ve ever known what I did, but now they do. You wanted the truth? That’s the truth. You deserve to be the champion. Two years. Six months. I came into FGA and won that championship almost quicker than anyone in this business, all while you got screwed over and over in having a match for that gold. You helped build this company from the bottom and were unappreciated. Pushed to the side for Cordy Stevenson. No one wanted to take you seriously until you MADE them take you seriously."
"So there’s your truth, whether you want to accept it or not."
After being told this, Cyncity stormed out of the arena and never returned for the title belt that she threw at the former World Champion. We have no idea what will happen when Cyncity comes face to face with McHannon again. But when she does, you can bet that it'll be an explosive situation.
So, what do you think? Do you believe Zero when he says that he essentially threw the match? Do you think that Cyncity won the title fair and square? Are Zero's actions fair or foul?
