- In late November of 2016, there was talk amongst FGA Officials of holding a year long World Series of Wrestling Tournament. The tournament, which would have been broken up in Group Stages, would pit various countries against each other. Each country would be represented by four wrestlers (two singles and a tag team). Each matchup would see at least one singles and one tag team match. In the event of a tie, the second singles wrestlers from each country would face off. The two countries with the most points would advance past the group stage and would go onto the single elimination portion of the tournament. However, with the recent unveiling of the World Crown Syndicate’s World Cup of Wrestling, plans for any WSOW from FGA have been suspended for the time being.
- FGA Officials have begun preliminary talks for a fourth Premiere Event to go along with the Gold Rush Rumble, Dynamic Duos Tag Team Tournament and the Frontier Lions Cup.
- There have been discussions about holding a year-end “Tour Finals” tournament after Final Frontier. The event would see the Top 8 ranked wrestlers split into two groups of four. After the round robin portion of the tournament, the two advancing grapplers from each group would go onto the Semifinals Finals and Finals. The tournament would ideally be held over the course of a week.
